I will care for your children with an emphasis on social-emotional development and communication.
Babies
I like to encourage early communication and education through basic baby sign language which is known to boost vocabulary and mental development.
Babies 6 months & older can explore their environment and play under my safe supervision.
Toddlers
Toddlers are just sooo much fun. At this stage I like to use pretend play to interact but also to identify and communicate our feelings, while beginning to understand the feelings of others.
4-6
For my little kids, I love to engage in hands-on activities, free play, kids yoga, storytime, pretend play, and arts & craft. I will also supervise children during outdoor play with your permission when the
weather permits.
7-9
My approach to caring for older children is through positive reinforcement, acknowledging good behaviors, and talking through problems when they arise and coming up with solutions together. I like to engage children in activities such as board games, crafts, storytelling, etc. I can help with homework, or assist if there are any extra needs your children may have.
